I married my beautiful wife Joy in 2016; she hails from a large family in the Philippines. I have posted some photos from both of our two weddings below. The first wedding was in the U.S. in Union, NJ as Joy has been a U.S. citizen for many years, and the second one was three weeks later in the Philippines where Joy’s 87 year old father walked her down the aisle in her hometown church in Victorias City, Philippines.

In September 2022, Joy and I moved from Secaucus, NJ to Sarasota, FL. I retired from Kean University in September 2022 and was appointed Professor Emeritus at Kean in May 2023. Not a moment too soon, of course, as my musical career is now heating up in Florida in both the piano and conducting realms! Until Joy retires some time in the next year, she continues to work remotely as an administrative nurse for her New York City hospital, Mt. Sinai Medical Center West. We have continued to visit with our families from Maine and Minnesota, and just celebrated my mother Tamara's 90th birthday! (Top left photo below)
We are both are thrilled with the fantastic musical offerings in Sarasota, and in the last few months have attended so many performances by the Sarasota Orchestra, the Sarasota Opera, and Sarasota Ballet, and have made many friends! We both enjoy a strong Christian faith and believe it is not an accident that we are in Florida after visiting and considering many other U.S. cities (even Honolulu, Hawaii!) To quote Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” So here we are!!! We’ve also posted a few photos of our wonderful new life here in Sarasota!
